Always a pleasure to hear Mark tell the Story of Television, this time at a SMPTE meeting in Philadelphia.

Mark traces the Concept of Television back to 1877 and the 1876 Siemens Electrical Artificial Eye.

Mark also discusses the pre-requisitives to the establishment of the Concept of television and the coining of the word Television in 1900 at the Paris World Fair.
