Having all those videowalls in one room was quite an experience. The 120 hz 3d had amazing negative parallax, the camelia being driven by the 10 bit image driver had spectacular color volume. There is a per tile visible edge shown as a light line around the squares visible as in other techs. Perhaps more noticeable than the Samsung microled, but then again the microled had a contrast enhancing glass in front of it that help conceal the modules visibility.

Common Cathode has great cost nbenefits in power consumption but the prices to end user are significantly higher than the walll's.

I use the Panasonic exclusive, the tone mapping comes in handy. For the price and reputation of the OPPO I am surprised at its lack of tone mapping.

We watch tonight a older Nolen Movie "The Prestige" from the Germany Nolen UHD Box.

I have not seen this movie so far.
It was a very good movie with a good picture quality in general but some seq. not looks so nice.

Very sad again the Oppo UHD Player stop playback after around 105 min.
That was this time not very nice as it comes at a part from the Movie that take our attention and we are out of the movie for some time.
Very bad not good.
Its my secound Oppo UHD Player that show this kind of bug during a UHD Playback.
Some times it just stop for few secound some times it stop for long time and you need to shut down the Oppo and start again.
I can not live with this bug that I have seen so many times now.
If Oppo can not solve this problem I will return to the Panasonic UB 900 that had not a single time any problem at all.

Peter, I told the 'it ain't 8K complainers', elsewhere, that were already hit by sticker shock that, it being modular, you could get 4 for the price of one CLED, and go 8K that way, lol.

Video Walls / Re: Are direct LED Walls really that good?
« Last post by donaldk on Sun January 14, 2018, 11:17:10 AM »
Peter, 'The Wall' is completely different technology as the current crop of SMD LED wall Samsung is selling into signage and Cinema. The Micro LED modules are made up of small tiles of tiny leds embedded in the surface material. These tiles are pre-assembled into the modules, so the front to back alignment does not rely on your team's workmanship, but on the quality control in the factory. And since we have been able to see the structure in the Sony on multiple occassions, it is something to be concerned about/make sure it is not bothersome in these MicroLED displays.
